The Brushed Finish Technique Program allows for flexibility to choose any Decora Color Collection, Sherwin-Williams, or Custom Color and combine with one of three choices to create a one-of-a-kind look on your Maple or MDF door:

Brushed Onyx
Brushed Pavestone
Brushed Saddle

There will be an additional 2 week lead time.

A sample is required before purchasing any product in a Brushed Finish option.

A Sample Door Order Form must be submitted. Please include the door style and the profile selection, as well as a color sample, if choosing a Brushed Finish in a custom color. A minimum 4 in. x 4 in. sample must be submitted for a custom color match, unless it is a fan-deck swatch from a paint manufacturer, in which case a minimum 1-1/4 in. x 2 in. sample can be submitted. Please be aware that samples sent on materials other than wood will have a different appearance when the matched color is applied to the actual door or cabinet. This is due to different material properties, textures, and sheen levels.

Upon receiving the Sample Door Order Form, a sample door in the finish, style, and profile requested will be produced, labeled, and reference the order number. One half of the door will be sent to the customer for approval, and the other half will be retained by Decora. After 90 days, a new custom color sample (CCSMPL) is required.

The customer will review and approve the door sample. A signed Brushed Finish Agreement Form is required (will be sent with half door sample from Decora).
Submit the cabinet order and include the Brushed Finish Agreement form and Purchase Order Number (PO#).

Note: The techniques of Reserve, Reserve Plus, Vintage, and Vintage Plus are not available with Brushed Finishes.
